Integration replaces costly promotional strategies, enabling retailers to provide shoppers with personalized offers, delivered directly to the point of sale by Birdzi

ISELIN, N.J. –Jan. 4, 2020Birdzi Inc., a provider of personalized digital customer engagement solutions for regional supermarket retailers, has announced the completion of its real-time integration with NCR’s loyalty system, enabling retailers to dramatically expand the scope of their personalized promotion efforts. The integration enables the delivery of customer-specific promotional discounts, offered in real-time during the transaction and at scale.

Birdzi’s integration transforms personalization capabilities for retailers using NCR’s loyalty solution. Until now, retailers publishing personalized offers were limited to utilizing direct mail, print-in-lane coupons or their digital coupon provider’s integration to the POS – all of which were costly solutions. Through Birdzi’s integration, retailers can publish an unlimited number of personalized offers with the savings delivered into the transaction at the point of sale via a real time call to Birdzi’s platform, which is triggered by the customer loyalty ID.

Now, retailers can vastly expand their personalization efforts, moving from marketing staples like personalized weekly ads to more strategic initiatives designed to grow the individual shopper value, and provide contextually relevant promotions, all in a real-time, digital ecosystem.

Birdzi had previously integrated NCR’s Loyalty solution for purposes of reporting back to the shopper real-time point balances, club activity, and other loyalty information, via Birdzi’s white-label app and web app.

The NCR Loyalty integration is live at Coborn’s stores.
